Thursday 11/7

We continued studying for Common Assessment #4 today, which we'll be taking tomorrow.

Look! A jumping Dolphin.
Today we learned how to solve projectile word problems with quadratic equations. These problems are the last of the material we will cover before Common Assessment #4. Together, we worked out every fourth problem on Notes #32.

Today we went over last night's homework in detail, answering questions and clearing up any confusion anyone had, then began working on a multiple choice preview worksheet for tomorrow's Common Assessment #3.

Today we solved word problems that were specific to Common Assessment #3 in Notes #24.

We'll be taking Common Assessment #3 on Friday, so you should begin your studying now to put yourself on the path to success and avoid all the frustration experienced by our friend below. Some of this is difficult, but hard work can overcome that.

We began dismantling word problems with Notes #23 today in order to get prepared for Common Assessment #3 on Friday. Remember to use the steps outlined at the side to help you break the problems down into workable pieces.

Remember, all solutions to tonight's homework must contain both an equation and a final answer (written as a complete sentence). It's not "right" unless it has both.

There are a few phrasing typos on the worksheet. If they're confusing you, feel free to take a look at the fixed worksheet uploaded here to double-check the correct phrasing.
